Toward a New Style of Living

Living with nature is the best way of living style in human life. Especially life on water will be meaningful in terms of the way of living with nature. It will create lots of flexibilities not only in our physical life style but also in our social life style. It is based on the particular character of living environment, mobility. Navigating from here to there we can have many different private gardens, which is natural sphere. And we can also have wide communities like internet world.

In a way mobile floating architecture for life on the water is ‘beyond architecture’ toward a new style of

living.

Form and Functions

Considering mobility form is designed with fluid and hydrodynamic type under the limitation of

dimension (L=15m, W=5m, and total H=4.8m). It makes possible not only to be capable of float on the water but also to be stable from the wind and the water ripple while the house stays in place.

The form consists of three parts: roof area, living area, and a draught area. These three different parts

are unified with the compact structure and folding surfaces. Fluid form created by folding surfaces can generate space for storage and service. It is afford for the floating house to be self-sufficiency.

Roof surface is designed to passive-energy unit: photovoltaic modular system and rainwater harvest

system. The folding surface for living creates two areas in different levels: day-time area and nighttime

area. The space between living surface and draught surface is used for supply and waste disposal.

The fluid form with wood strip will make new elegant landscape in Lusatian Lakelands.

Folding Living Space

The house is to be open to the natural surroundings, while at the same time guaranteeing privacy.

Glazed on the three sides, the facade has wood louvers.

Folding surface makes two levels and can be afford to divide into two areas: day-time area and nighttime area. Day-time area is opened to outside and is brighten by natural light during the day. There is entrance, corridor and kitchen. One surface makes sitting place, desk, and kitchen furniture folding along corridor. Underneath surface for day-time area there is storage and cavity for pipes.

On the other hand night-time area is located 90cm lower than day-time area. In fact, half of height is

placed under water level. There is top light window in each room. There is view finder on the corridor floor to be able to see the under water.

MICRO KIT





Micro KIT e uno spazio minimo abitabile leggero e modulare. La idea di Micro KITe la casa come un KIT in cui tutti i servizi per abitare sono situati in una minima scatola. Questa scatola e molto semplice ed economica da costruire e puo essere utilizzata sia per la vita normale e sia in caso d’emergenza. La dimensione di Micro KIT e di 2.8m x 4.2m. Si adatta ad ogni tipo di luogo, nelle aree metropolitane ma anche nelle aree naturali. Lo spazio interno e composto da vari spazi funzionali: spazio per dormire, cucinare, lavorare e servizi d’igiene. In Micro KIT sono stati composti quattro Set ? un sofa-bed(S1), un’armadio con il tavolo scorrevole(S2), mobili per cucinare(S3), spazio per la cura del corpo(S4) ed infine un piccolo deposito che puo essere ricavato negli spazi nascosti. Tutti i Set sono stati fatti con l’alta tecnologia, include broadband ed internet connette al schermo plasma e l’alta qualita della cucina e del bagno. Ogni Set e stato progettato? independentmente coordinando tra loro per comporrli con i vari modi. Basando sulle funzioni dei Set l’organizzazioni degli usi degli spazi interni potrebbe dare la soddisfazione dei gusti diversi della gente. Oltre ad aver un Micro KIT ben attrezzato e possibile aggiungere a quest’ultimo delle scatole opzionali (dimensione di 2.8m x 2.3m) sia in senso verticale che orizzontale formando varie tipologie che potranno essere le piu varie: torre, linea, ballatoio, schiera con risultati finali che potranno essere convenzionali, ma anche i piu fantasiosi possibili. Questo modo di espansione ci da anche le varie possibilita degli usi degli spazi nell’unita. Come una stanza alternativa, o uno studio, o uno spazio terziario. Per il concetto dell’energia l’utilizzo dell’isolamento termico con alta qualita e i vetri con rivestimento in emmissione minima contiene l’aria calda e l’aria condizionata che sia facile di operare e di regolare. Oppure i pannelli prefabricati sotto il pavimento si funzionano per raffreddamento in estate e riscaldamento durante l’inverno. Le illuminazioni nel Micro KIT consistono nel sistema di LED che sia la tecnologia avanzzata per la temperature bassa. Micro KIT e stato progettato anche per la sostenibilita come un Eco-Kit. L’eletticita per Micro KIT viene ricavata mediante dei pannelli solari fotovoltaici. I pannelli sono stati installati sopra il tetto. E stato studiato per questo Micro KIT un apposito impianto idrico per l’utilizzo delle acque piovane e delle acque grigie. Tutti i vari impianti elettrici e idrici e le varie cisterne sono stati collocati nel basamento della cellula. Con questi tutti i sistemi per la sostenibilita nel Micro KIT il mantenimento del KIT e sempre piu economico con il tempo al fine.
